Size / Access Note:
Despite an easy entry ramp, the 26" wide doors of this vintage caboose do NOT allow ADA access. The door to the bathroom is 22" wide. The 3rd bunk in the cupola is suitable for a 5' 4" person or shorter. Upper bunks and cupola reading space require climbing 5' vertical ladders.

Occupying the walk-out level of our log home, the 2-room Franklin suite has a spacious 14’ x 15’ bedroom with adjacent Jacuzzi tub bath (fits two!), adjoining 18’ x 19’ sitting room with sofa, bar-sink and mini-refrigerator, a gas-log fireplace and flat screen TV. With its own private outside entry, it’s a perfect romantic setting with both rooms overlooking the lake.
Join us on the outdoor deck, take a day trip to nearby Saugatuck or Holland, go antiquing in the area, or simply relax in a rocker overlooking the lake. There are many things to see and do in the area. Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids are each less than an hour away.
